Commencing today, a minimum of 22% of all newly purchased cars must be electric. The ZEV Mandate stipulates the required percentage of newly manufactured zero emission cars and vans to be produced annually. By 2030, the UK will need to ensure that 80% of new cars and 70% of new vans sold are zero emission vehicles, with a complete transition to 100% by 2035.
